Gene was truly one of a kind with a broad smile, a tremendous wit and a very unusual golf swing. So many great times were shared before, during and after our MedPro days! Really will miss you big guy.

We @ Dupont Family Dentistry were very saddened to hear of Gene's loss. He was a wonderful patient who always had a smile and a great story to tell about his family or adventures. He was very devoted to Carol and so giving of his time to others.
We will miss him dearly.

I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was a great guy, always good for a story and a smile. He was the best Med Pro golf outing organizer and loved golf. I remember him best as Santa Claus at Christmas time and the time he came to our house when our daughter was six and had the flu. He came into the house and made her day! A great man and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

As the manager of the reading service where Gene volunteered for nearly 17 years,
we truly have lost a "most caring, wise, loving, fun and generous man..."

May peace envelop all who knew and loved Gene.

I first met Gene in 1979 at St Charles Borromeo Church in Fort Wayne. we had both recently moved to Fort Waylne. I was a country boy from a farm in Eastern Oregon and he was the epitome of big city being from the south side of Chicago....but we were both first generation Irish and that was enough. He was full of blarney and I was quiet. A kinder man I've never met. His devotion to his family was profound.
