Condolence & Memory Journal

Your father was active in Clan McAlister of America. I had the privilege of knowing him at our many gatherings over the years. Your father was from the J01 line and I am a member of the A09 line. From DNA testing, we determined that both of these lines were related. On behalf of Clan McAlister of America and the FTDNA McAlister Project, please accept our condolences in the loss of your father. We will be remembering him at our next gathering in 2018 and will light a candle in remembrance of him. Nancy Hudson

Mark - I am so sorry to hear of your father's death. I believe I first met your Mom and Dad in the early 70's and the name McAlister has never been forgotten. Please know that my thoughts are with you. Jeff Ames

Dear Susan and Mark -
I will keep you close in my thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks as you are going through your process of grieving. We appreciate the time we got to spend with Frank and the Kingston at Dupont team will miss him.

Frank was a part of our family as Mary Jane was a second cousin. He was very kind to my father (Merle Grismore). A great IU fan and a great story teller. He will be greatly missed.

Frank and I are of the same era and the same county. My Mexico Bulldogs never won a game against his Chili Bears, largely because of Frank's skills. We crossed paths again when I represented the Indiana School Boards Association and him with the Chamber of Commerce. Frank was smart, honest, and highly respected by his fellows who lobbied. To know him was a privilege. May he rest in peace.
