Gottfred "Fritz" Kurzweg, 98, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Kingston Residence in Fort Wayne. Born in Anamoose, North Dakota, Gottfred worked as an electrician with Lockheed for 50 years. He loved music and his family. He sang bass in many quartets and musical groups. Gottfred was a devout husband and father. Surviving are his daughter, Karleen (Bob) Martin of Fort Wayne; son, Kevin Daniel Kurzweg of Los Angeles, CA; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Gottfred was preceded in death by wife, Irene Marie Kurzweg; daughter, Cheryl Marie Redekopp; father, August Kurzweg; and mother, Mamie Margaret Kurzweg. Service is 11:00 am, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Riverview Baptist Church, 14 Moreland Ave. East West St. Paul, Minnesota. Burial in Acacia Cemetery in MN.
