Josh J. Gentry, 34, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 6, 2018 at his residence surrounded by family. Mr. Gentry was born on September 30, 1983 in Kokomo, IN to John and Susan (Crippes) Gentry. Josh graduated from Homestead High School. He then continued his education as a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and obtained a bachelor degree at Indiana University as well as a Master's degree from Ball State University. On September 1, 2007, he married Erin Badenhop. Josh worked as a systems engineer with Cisco Systems for 9 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He loved being a father and playing with his children. Josh also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan of I.U., Indianapolis Colts and the St. Louis cardinals. He also enjoyed doing IT projects around the house. Surviving are his Spouse, his parents; daughter, Adalyn Gentry; son, Jackson Gentry; 4 sisters, Stephanie (Jon) Stevens of Columbus, OH; sister, Katelyn (Jordan) Gentry of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Alyssa Gentry of Columbus, OH; sister, Madison Gentry of Fort Wayne. Joshua was preceded in death by his brother, Zachary Gentry. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am with calling one hour prior from 10:00am to 11:00am, July 11, 2018 at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with Father Dave Voors officiating. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Tuesday, Fort Wayne, IN, July 10, 2018, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, IN. A memorial service in St. Louis will be held at a later date.
