Lawrence was born on February 3, 1928 and passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017.

Lawrence was a resident of Auburn, Indiana at the time of passing.

Cotton was a 1946 graduate of Garrett High School and earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from Ball State University in 1952.

He was a US Army WWII Veteran.

Lawrence was married to Mary.

Services are 11 AM Friday February 17 2017 at Auburn First United Methodist Church with Rev Jim Farrer officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery Garrett. Calling is Thursday from 3 to 8 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home 1860 Center Street Auburn and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church Friday from 10 to 11.

Preferred memorials are to the Garrett Community Center or Auburn First United Methodist Church.
