MARK STEVEN ALLEN, 59, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, in Fort Wayne, Ind. Born Jan. 12, 1959, in Batavia, NY., he was a son of the late Roland and Virginia (O'Grady) Allen. Mark grew up raising onions on the family farm and graduated from Elba Central High School in 1977. Together with his brother Dan, he built a successful business in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he spent the last 33 years of his life. Mark enjoyed music, history, business, philosophy and spending time with family and friends. He loved to laugh and maintained his sense of humor throughout his entire battle with Multiple Myeloma. He fought daily with strength and perseverance up until the last minute when it was time for his spirit to soar with the Lord. Survivors include his three daughters, Sara (Eric) Cutigni, Rebecca (Andrew Rhodes) Allen and Rachel (Scot) Polley; former wife and longtime friend, Cindy Maxwell; five grandchildren, Jackson, Chase, Keira, Anabelle and Kohen; two brothers, Rick (Julie) Allen and Dan (Diana) Allen; two sisters, Catie (Phil) Ellis and Tracy (Dan) Hoeffel; and numerous family members and friends. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorial Service is 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road. Fort Wayne, Ind.
