Mary L. Schneider, 66, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mary was the daughter of the late Dave and Naomi Adkison. Mary worked for the Fort Wayne Newspapers for many years prior to her working for Sirva where she had been working. Mary was an avid reader, she enjoyed shopping, cherished her dog Katie, and loved her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Terry Schneider of Fort Wayne; children, Amber (Roman) Kreigh of Fort Wayne, Adam (Cari) Seidel of New Haven; step-children, Bruce (Dawn) Schneider, Dawn (Steve) Strack, Sharyl (Don) Glover; grandchildren, Haley, Jazzlyn, and Dylan; 10 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and brother, Dave (Maxine) Adkison of Decatur, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters Sue Osborne and Sandy Horstman. A Memorial Gathering will be Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4 pm to 7 pm at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Memorials may be made to the ASPCA or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
