Mary L. Welch, 84, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was a native and lifetime resident of Fort Wayne, IN, and born to the late Acy and Viola Conner. Mary was an employee at JC Penney for 17yrs years. She was a member of United Faith Presbyterian Church. Mary loved to travel whether on family excursions to Disney World or going Camping with her husband. Surviving are her children, Linda (Marvin) Haugk of Hoagland, IN; Vickie (Rene) Majors of Linden, TN; Pam (Bob) Satterthwaite of Fort Wayne, IN; Sharon (Jim) Klima of Hicksville, OH; son-in-law, Tim Bergman, daughter-in-law, Gloria Welch, sisters, Gladys Holt, Violet Cook all of Fort Wayne, IN; 24 grandchildren 37 great-grandchildren 13 great-great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Angel. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert D. Welch, son, Gene Welch, and a daughter, Bonita Bergman. Service is 10:00 AM Friday March 16, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue Fort Wayne IN 46805 with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday March 15, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
