Nancy A. Steffens, 90, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne. Born in Cedarville, Nancy worked as an obstetric technician, unit clerk, and time coder from 1966 to 1993 with Parkview Memorial Hospital. She was previously employed by Indiana Bank Money Order Division. Nancy was a 1945 graduate of Leo High School. She was a lifelong resident of Cedarville, living the majority of her life in the house her father built when she was an infant. She married Floyd Steffens in 1946 in her parent's home and he preceded in her death in 1992. She was a member of Cedarville Community Church and St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Parkview Ambassadors, and Leo American Legion Auxiliary. She served the Leo-Cedarville Community Park as board member and later as volunteer from 1997-2012 handling sign and pavilion rentals. Surviving are her sons, Marcus G. (Jan) Steffens of Lutz, FL and Paul Steffens of Leo-Cedarville, IN; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by husband, Floyd I. Steffens; father, Glenn S. Myers; mother, Dorothy B. Myers; sons, David W. Steffens and George Steffens; sister, Marian Ohman. Service is 11:00 am, Monday, February 12, 2018 at Cedarville Community Church, with Rev. Monte S. Sheets officiating. Calling from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Monday, February 12, 2108 at Cedarville Community Church, 12828 Main Street, Leo, IN. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
