Shawn L. Stiver, 68, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Garrett, IN, Shawn was a 1968 graduate of Eastside High School, graduated Indiana University and received her Master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Shawn and John were married at Butler Church of Christ on March 21,1970. She worked as a contact representative with the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board for 25 years. She previously attended Christ Church at Georgetown and most recently was attending County Line Church of God. She was also a member of the Georgetown Library Rug Hooking Club and volunteered for the Red Cross. Saying that Shawn was an avid Indiana University fan would be an understatement, Shawn loved IU basketball and football. She also loved to be outdoors gardening. Shawn and John loved to travel and together they had visited 49 states. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed. Surviving are her beloved husband of 48 years, John Stiver of Fort Wayne; her loving daughter, Angela (Jay) Gallien of Fort Wayne; and her dearly loved granddaughter, India Leora Gallien; her siblings, Debbie Hatter of Tokyo, Japan, Kevin (Kris) Campbell of Charlotte, NC, Jackie Bevington of St. Joe, IN, Stacy (Dale) Bernard of Auburn, IN and Steven (De) Campbell of South Whitley, IN; along with a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law, Jim Craig of St. Louis, MO, Dennis (Cindy) Stiver of Fort Wayne, IN, and Rick (Sue) Stiver of Edgerton, OH. Shawn was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Phyllis Campbell; two brothers-in-law, Steve Bevington and Robert Stiver; and sister-in-law, Becky Craig. Service is 3:00 pm, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at County Line Church of God, 7716 CR 72 with Pastor Stephen Schlatter officiating with an hour of calling prior to the service. Calling at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Wednesday, June 13, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery Auburn, Indiana.
